The KES Kids Heart Challenge (formerly known as Jump Rope for Heart) was held in the school multi-purpose room on Friday, February 15, 2019. Students that raised at least $5 for The American Heart Association enjoyed some time during the school day to jump rope, dance, and hula hoop while being entertained by a guest DJ. Students who raised at least $20 were able to sign their name on Mr. B's Kids Heart Challenge shirt. Our students and staff proudly broke the school record by raising a total of $10,000 for The American Heart Association. The student that raised the most in donations was 4th grader, Reagan Shelley, when she brought in $1,500. Mrs. Jane Lott, Youth Marketing Director for The American Heart Association, presented the school's Kids Heart Challenge to our KES PE teacher, Mr. Brachna and Ms. Ellis, along with Reagan on March 12, 2019 to be displayed in the school Multi-Purpose Room.
