Car Drop-Off and Pick-Up Information

Hello KES Parents!

Thank you for all your help as we strive to make this year a success! Please see a few reminders below that will help us achieve success as we Build Koala-ty Kids!

Reminders:

  • AM drop-off for PK-2 is at the back loop (3-5 allowed if they have younger siblings)
  • AM drop-off for 3-5 is at the front of the school
  • PM pick-up for Pk-3 is at the back loop (4th-5th graders allowed if they have younger siblings)
  • PM pick-up for 4-5 is on Buttone St.
  • Please make sure your child has his/her lunchbox, bookbag, and mask on to help move the car rider line along faster in the mornings.
  • Please consider writing your child's name on 8.5x11 size paper for ease of PM pick-up
  • The front gates and back car-rider-loop gate opens at 7:10AM each morning. Gates close promptly at 7:35AM as this is when the late bell rings. Students will need to be brought to the front office to sign in as tardy at this time.
  • Outer car-rider lane (lane nearest the fence) is for grades Pk-2 students. Inner car-rider lane is for grades 3-5 students
  • Thank you for all you do to support our school and our Koalas! You all are simply the best!!

Principal's Message

Hello KES Parents!

It is hard to believe that May is the last full month of school! Wow, where has the time gone? As I reflect back on this school year, I can say that we have had a very busy and productive year! Our Koalas have been working super hard to achieve both their academic and behavioral goals. Let's continue to push and remind them that the sky is the limit to what they can achieve.

May is going to be another busy month. State testing will begin the week of May 8th for our 3rd-5th Graders. Please make sure your child gets enough rest and eat a healthy breakfast during testing week. We will also have our field days on May 25th (prek-2) and May 26th (3- 5th). Please makes sure that your child is dressed appropriately for field day so he/she can enjoy the fun of the day. Also, our end of the year Terrific Kids Assemblies will take place on May 30 for all grades except 5th. Please view your KES Family Calendar for specific times. We will have our 5th Grade Assemblies and Promotion Ceremony on May 31st.

I want to thank you all for the support you have given our school this year! Surely, we could not be the great school we are without your support. I hope you all enjoy the upcoming summer season with your Koala(s)! Stay safe!
